Our Fabric

MERINO

Merino wool has been used by explorers for decades due to its ability to wick moisture away from the skin while regulating body temperature, keeping you warm when it’s cold and cool when its warm.

Merino also resists bacteria which eliminates the nasty odours you get when you wear synthetic fibres such as polyester that most cycle garments are made from. This means your GRVL jerseys will keep you smelling as fresh as you did when you stepped out of the shower.

Merino wool is a natural fibre and therefore totally sustainable to grow and when it biodegrades, releases all the nutrients and minerals back into the soil, enriching it for nature to flourish.

TENCEL™

TENCEL™ fibres and manufactured from the renewable raw materials such as Bamboo or wood waste sourced from sustainably managed forests.

This technology to produce TENCEL™ uses an integrated process, from wood pulp to fibre, which has high recovery rates of process and generates very low emission to air.

The fibre wicks sweat away from the skin and dries incredibly fast, making it a great fibre to use when riding hard and fast.

The TENCEL™ fibres produce a superfine and luxurious fabric, which when blended with our superfine merino wool provides a fabric that has a unique comfort against the skin.

Being a natural fibre, TENCEL™ also biodegradable and compostable and can fully revert back to nature.

TENCEL™, LENZING™ and ECOVERO™ are trademark of Lenzing AG

This is why we love MERINO + TENCEL™

And why you will too.
