Notable Achievements:
I started cycling in October 2025, and it's quickly become a huge part of my life. One of my biggest highlights so far has been riding the 230km Cantii Way over two days with a loaded bike. It sparked a real love of bikepacking and the freedom that comes with carrying your temporary home on your bike. This year I've also done a few events like Brother in the Wild, the Garmin Ride Out, Stone Circle and Girls That Ride Bikes. I'm very much in a "try everything" phase at the moment, with my first 100-miler planned with friends, the South Downs Way on the horizon, and my first cycling trip abroad in the works.

Why GRVL?
What really drew me to GRVL was the sense of community around the brand, especially the encouragement of more women getting out on bikes and giving gravel a go. I also love the environmental ethos behind the brand. Most of my cycling kit has come from circular platforms like Vinted and Depop, so the focus on creating durable kit and using more sustainable materials really resonated with me. I like that GRVL is thinking about the environmental impact of its products as well as how they perform out on the bike. As someone who's fallen in love with bikepacking and spending long days outdoors, I want to support brands that are helping to protect the places we ride, not just making more stuff. I also love that GRVL feels rooted in adventure and community rather than racing - it's exactly the kind of riding that has made me fall in love with cycling.
ABOUT EMMA GOFF
What Got You into Gravel Cycling?
I was initially drawn to gravel because I felt more comfortable away from busy roads, but I stayed because I loved how adventurous it is. Every ride is different, one minute you're on gravel tracks, the next you're riding through fields or winding along singletrack. It feels more like an adventure than a workout, and I love never quite knowing what's around the next corner.
Gravel Goals for the Future?
I mainly want to keep getting stronger and gradually build up to longer, more ambitious bikepacking trips. I'm hoping to ride the Badger Divide and take on the Saimaa Gravel Tour in Finland next year. I’m enjoying challenging myself and saying yes to new adventures.
Favourite Place to Ride Gravel?
So far, North Wales has been my favourite. Riding around Blaenau Ffestiniog with one of my closest friends has been a real highlight this year. The climbs definitely make you work for them, but the views at the top are more than worth it. I feel like I've only scratched the surface though, and can't wait to explore more routes across Wales.
Favourite Ride Snack?
Percy Pigs are hard to beat, but for longer rides my go-to has to be the Fridge Raiders meat-free ‘chicken’ pieces. As a vegan cyclist, I’m still figuring out the perfect ride fuel strategy for me, so I’ve been trying to put a bit more thought into getting enough nutrition on longer days. I found them to be a good way to fill a gap without feeling weighed down.
Favourite Piece of GRVL Apparel?
The Women's Core Jersey is definitely up there for me - I love how sleek and comfortable it is. But I also have been loving the hydration pack. I seem to get through a ridiculous amount of water on rides, and I've had more than one occasion where I've had to ask someone watering their front garden for a bottle refill! It's made those longer, more remote rides much less stressful.
