Why GRVL?

I have been aware of the brand for a while now and always loved the products, and the brands focus on sustainability! The quality is fantastic and looks great! There are so few brands out there that are Gravel specific, so most other stuff feels like a compromise.

ABOUT ALEX ORTON

What Got You into Gravel Cycling?

I started off riding MTB, but where I live near The Ridgeway, there aren’t many trails that require a MTB. I kept seeing people fly past me on gravel bikes and thought, that looks like a lot of fun! I haven’t looked back! Gravel made relatively tame trails interesting again and opened my eyes to the world of bikepacking!

Anywhere I haven’t explored before! Although after a recent trip to Kielder, I am very much looking forward to getting back up there for Dirty Reiver!

Favourite Ride Snack?

Flapjacks & Sour Patch Kids

Favourite Piece of GRVL Apparel?

3 Season Jacket. A windproof, water-resistant jacket with bundles of pockets,
what’s not to love? I have really put this jacket through its paces, and it
doesn’t disappoint!
