What Got You into Gravel Cycling?
After crashing out on the road on black ice a few years back, I needed something to motivate me back to the bike and my partner David suggested I try gravel. I wasn't sure I’d take to it, but fast forward 3 years and I’ve well and truly thrown myself into it, conquering both the Dirty Reiver and The Gralloch.
Gravel Goals for the Future?
More of the same for me. 2026 will see me take on both the Dirty Reiver and The Gralloch once again, whilst I’m also looking into Ranxo Gravel and there will undoubtedly be some bike packing trips thrown in as well.
Favourite Place to Ride Gravel?
Grizedale Forest, Lake District.
Favourite Ride Snack?
I have two go to’s for different scenario’s! It’s either a Babybel or a Luchos Energy Square.
